Availity Essentials is now Highmark's* provider portal

Highmark is always looking for ways to simplify business processes and improve your online experience, giving you access to the information and tools you need most. Starting in late 2023, Highmark began moving their secure provider portals to Availity® to give you an enhanced provider portal, where you can:

  • Check eligibility and benefits
  • Determine if an authorization is required
  • Check claim status
  • View remittance advice and vouchers
  • Access of Highmark resources and applications through a dedicated payer space

Availity Essentials offers secure online access to Highmark as well as other available health plans in your region. During the transition, Highmark will work with Availity to provide you with the training and updates you need to ensure your success.
